Located just 55 miles from the Arizona-Mexico border at Nogales on Mexico highway 15, Magdalena is an accessible taste of Mexico.

The drive to Magdalena takes you through some of the most scenic terrain in Northern Sonora. Starting at the Nogales border crossing (we recommend that you enter Mexico from the Mariposa port of entry, to avoid the Nogales, Sonora city traffic), drive south on Mexico highway 15.

Along the way, as you drive through the scenic Northern Sonora desert, you will pass through the ejido of Cibuta, Sonora and the pueblo of Imuris, Sonora before arriving in Magdalena.
