Located just two blocks to the northeast of Plaza Juarez on Avenida Obregon, the city hall is more than a center of city administration, it is also a beautiful place to visit.
The building was originally a military academy for boys, and the city has restored it to be a real showplace for Magdalena. With its mix of colonial and modern influences, modern art and stained glass, the Palacio Municipal is a must-see for visitors to Magdalena.
